Professional Development March 14


1:00 - 3:00 - Optional Session - Any K-8 Teacher that will be working with a Smartboard

 

CCHS LRC - Smartboard Lesson Plan development Grades K-8

This time is being offered to any K-8 teacher that will be using a Smartboard. *THIS IS NOT training this is a follow-up to the training that was previously held. Tom Ruzinok and Brea Owensby will be available to answer basic questions about the Smartboard and teachers will have time to work independently or in groups to develop a lesson plan or plans. At the conclusion of the session, all teachers will report out to the group their idea for their lesson plan. Participants will be able gather many ideas for future lesson plans using their Smartboards.

Jason Smith and Tammy Elledge will be working with targeted participants on the new website that will be deployed within the next several weeks. All teachers will be invited for the formal training during the April early dismissal (more info coming).

Grade level rooms - If you aren't involved with one of the specific sessions above and you aren't going to the Smartboard session you'll meet in the following rooms to work on curriculum and assessments (data analysis) from 1:00 to 3:30 p.m.

3:00 - 3:30 -- All teachers should be in grade levels or departments to work on data analysis/curriculum/assessment work.


PD Hours will be available from Celeste in Room 208 at the conclusion of the day.
