Miss Gubelman’s Preschool classes practiced Trick or Treating during Language Group. The student’s practiced waiting their turn, making choices, requesting a piece of candy with a complete sentence, and using Halloween manners! The students had so much fun, and it was a great opportunity for the students to generalize their skills when trick or treating on Halloween with family and friends!
Mrs. Phillip’s STEPS class created a Thankful Wreath during Social Thinking Group. The students utilized thankful journals to identify various things the students are thankful for in their life. Then, the students followed directions to create a thankful wreath that displays different things the students are thankful for at their school. The students did a wonderful job, and it was a great team building activity! The wreath is currently being displayed in their classroom at the middle school!
